Somersville is a historic district in Somers, Connecticut that spans the Scantic River. With Colonial, Greek Revival, and Post-Medieval English architecture, it's on the National Register of Historic Places. Somers is a city of more than 10,000 people and was named one of the 100 Best Places To Live by Money Magazine in 2007, because it has “economic opportunity, good schools, safe streets, things to do and a real sense of community.” So, come for the historical beauty of Somersville, but be cautious, you may have a hard time leaving.
