Oceanside
Oceanside, Oregon is in the northern part of the state, stationed along the west coast. Oceanside is an unincorporated community located in Tillamook County. As of the 2000 federal census, the population of Oceanside was only 326 people. Within Oceanside, you can find Symons State Park and the Oceanside Beach State Recreation Site that is free and open to the public. Right offshore of the village is the Three Arch Rocks National Wildlife Refuge. Tillamook County was named for the Tillamook peoples who had resided in the area until European-American settlement. The county was established in 1853 by the territorial legislature.
