Stafford
Stafford, Virginia, is located within a reasonable distance to Washington, D.C., and is rich in culture and history. The Sauroposeidon, the longest dinosaur in Virginia, resided in Stafford. Many Native Americans from the Patawomeck and Manahoac tribes lived in the area. America’s first president, George Washington, lived in Stafford as an adolescent.
