Gardena
Gardena is located in the South Bay area of Los Angeles, and is known for its Ranchos and berry farms. It is home to about 60,000 residents, with about 42,000 living in the Harbor Gateway area, which is a shoestring-shaped area in the southern part of the city that was given its name in 1985. It is known for being extremely racially diverse, as well as experiencing some of the difficulties that come with not having a lot of the infrastructure that makes a neighborhood or city run smoothly. Recent efforts have given it more of an identity, and helped to bring it up to standard as a suburb of Los Angeles.
