Rosslyn
The town of Rosslyn dates back to the Colonial period and has always been a part of the voyage of visitors who came through the area. In the beginning, the town contained a landing for Awbrey's Ferry, which had the sole purpose of transporting travelers and then came to be known as Ross Lynn, which was the name of a farm in the town. Eventually, the name melded into what visitors know as Rosslyn Virginia.
Today, the town is incorporated as a part of Arlington County and has a population of over 9,500 people. There is a lot to do, with a lot of choice when it comes to lodging, as well as different restaurants for guests of the area to try. This is a nice place to come, whether you are interested in visiting with your family, your friends, or if you need a place to stay while on business. Through the size and urban nature of this area, there is not much that you should have to venture outside of the city to explore. For the most part, everything that you could ever need or want while you are on vacation in Rosslyn is extremely close to where you are staying, as well as the attractions that you will be visiting.
