Irwindale
Irwindale is a small city located in the San Gabriel Valley, in Los Angeles County. With a population of a little over 1,500 residents, the small town consists mostly of rock quarries. These quarries are a major source of income for the city, which is now able to offer residents full services, such as a library, a police station, a skate park, a teen center, a senior center, and a public gymnasium. The rest of the town is residential, with homes being mainly centered near the southeast corner of Arrow Highway and Irwindale Avenue. The city is primarily made up of sand and gravel pits, used for mining, and is the home of the Miller Brewing Company plant, and the corporate headquarters of Home Savings of America.
