Calistoga
A city in the county of Napa, Calistoga, California, has a population of just over 5,000 residents. This is one of the most beautiful areas in the country as the town was named by National Trust for Historic Preservation as a “Distinctive Destination” in 2001. In Calistoga, you can see what the wine country was like before development by man spoiled some parts of this area.
The tourist destination of Calistoga is known for its hot springs, cool wines, and warm welcomes. Many people come here to celebrate life events such as weddings and anniversaries, or to just soak in the culture of the area. There is excellent shopping and dining in this area and numerous attractions, both natural and man-made.
The climate is here is as attractive as the landscape, with summers being moderate and winters cool, with the temperature dropping below freezing for only a few days of the year. Seniors love the area for the natural beauty, but there is ample nightlife here for the younger set.
