Massapequa Park
A small, incorporated village on the south shore of Long Island, Massapequa Park is home to a number of beautiful parks and waterways, tiny shops, and plenty of access to neighboring museums and shopping malls. German-Americans who relocates from Brooklyn, New York in the 19th century settled the town of Massapequa Park, and in 1973 the famous Westfield Sunrise shopping mall was built. Adventureland amusement park is located just north of town in Farmingdale, and the Long Island Children's Museum is west of town in Garden City. Quaint and cozy, this suburban town along the water has much to offer visitors in the way of natural beauty as well as all the comforts of home.
