Garden City
A small village in the town of Hempstead in Nassau County, New York, Garden City is well-known for its status as the home of famous aviator Charles Lindbergh. The town was founded in 1869 by the multi-millionaire Alexander Turney Stewart, and ever since then has been a popular destination for its antiquated gardens, hotels, and Victorian houses. Though small, the Long Island town has achieved true fame over the course of history.
