Farmington Hills
One of the safest and wealthiest communities in the United States is Farmington Hills, Michigan. The Michigan School of Professional Psychology is located in this beautiful city with students obtaining both master’s and doctorate’s degrees in psychology. Students can also choose to obtain degrees at many other nearby colleges, including Detroit’s Wayne State University, Ann Arbor’s University of Michigan, Rochester’s Oakland University, Ypsilanti’s Eastern Michigan University, and East Lansing’s Michigan State University all within an easy hour’s drive.
Many residents are employed by Botsford Hospital, a great community health care facility with 330 beds. Other residents are employed by Robert Bosch Corporation making fuel-injection systems for combustion engines and other individual car parts to insert into cars. Cengage Learning Gale is also located in this affluent city where employees write educational content and make informational technology for the classroom. Other large employers in town include Aditya Birla Minacs, TD Auto Finance, Trott and Trott, ACO Hardware, and the Nissan Technical Center.
