Odell
Odell, Oregon is an unincorporated community located in the northern part of the state inside of Hood River County. The village of Odell was named for the explorer William Odell from Tennessee who settled in the area by way of California in 1861. The 2010 federal census lists the population of Odell at 2,255 residents. Hood River County was established in 1908 and is a top producer in a multitude of fruits such as cherries, pears, and apples. The area is known for its famous “Fruit Loop” driving tour, which takes drivers to a variety of fruit stands, and fruit farms in the area.
