La Habra
West Coyote Hills is a low mountain range situated to the south of La Habra, California. The area around West Coyote Hills is largely residential, with a convenient mingling of golf courses, parks, and natural green space. A portion of land along West Coyote Hills just over 500-acres is the largest undeveloped parcel of land in northern Orange County, and remains a topic of dispute between preservationists and developers. A group called Save West Coyote Hills has been diligently working to garner support for preserving the entire tract of land as natural ecosystem.Located just south of La Habra, the West Coyote Hills area shares many of the city's amenities and attractions. Established in the late 19th Century, La Habra is a thriving area rich with agriculture and a small-town sense of hospitality. With just over 60,000 residents, La Habra and surrounding areas offer a calm respite from the bustle of city life just over an hour away.
