Sierra Madre
Sierra Madre is a fairly small city in California's Los Angeles County. It only had a population of around 10,900 as of the 2010 Census. The city's nickname is “Wisteria City” or “Village of the Foothills” due to its location within San Gabriel Valley's foothills, directly south of the Angeles National Forest. On the western edge of Sierra Madre are Altadena and Pasadena while Arcadia is to the south and east.
Although Sierra Madre has a small-town feel because of its size, it is a popular location among tourists, especially those who enjoy going for hikes and enjoying nature. It attracts many families and singles alike who are vacationing.
